Hospitality & Care
Meeting needs, extending Christ's love, walking alongside one another.
Who we are
A home where care
meets compassion.
The Hospitality and Care Ministry embodies the heart of the gospel: we meet people in their seasons of need with presence, prayer, and spiritual encouragement. From hospital visits to grief support, from celebrating milestones to offering ushering—we show up with Christ's radical love, ensuring no one walks through difficult or joyful seasons alone.
“Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.”— Galatians 6:2

What C.A.R.E stands for
Four words. One calling.
Compassion
Rooted in Christ's love, we extend genuine care to anyone in our community facing difficult seasons — meeting them with prayer, presence, and spiritual support during hospital stays and times of grief.
Compassion
Rooted in Christ's love, we extend genuine care to anyone in our community facing difficult seasons — meeting them with prayer, presence, and spiritual support during hospital stays and times of grief.
Availability
We show up when it matters most — at hospital bedsides, in grief, and at celebrations. Whether mourning a loss or rejoicing in a milestone, we're committed to bearing one another's burdens and sharing one another's joys.
Response
No season is too difficult. Our ministry responds thoughtfully to coordinate visits, support through our GriefShare program, prayer vigils, and other forms of spiritual care and presence.
Encouragement
We walk alongside people through their valley with prayer, listening, biblical encouragement, and the assurance that the church body stands with them. Our ushers also welcome all with warmth and hospitality.
Getting started
How we care and serve
Know who needs support
Through prayer and communication with pastoral staff and our community, we identify people who are experiencing illness, loss, grief, or celebrating significant milestones and would benefit from care.
Coordinate with love
Our team organizes hospital visits, grief support, celebration visits, and ushering. We work together to ensure people feel Christ's presence and the church's love consistently and thoughtfully.
Serve faithfully
Whether visiting a hospital bedside, attending a funeral, celebrating a milestone, offering GriefShare support, or welcoming guests as ushers, our volunteers show Christ's love through faithful service.
Walk together
We stay present through the season, checking in and adjusting support as circumstances change, knowing that true care is a journey, not a single act.
